Discerning God's Way

There is a controversary within the Christian community as to whether the Gospel of Jesus Christ should be God-centered or man-centered. Classical theology used to believe it should be God-centered. But this approach has been challenged by some modern evangelical thought that you need to feel good about yourself, and when you feel good you're right with God. In this approach, the man has become the center of the stage, and the focus is on what he chooses to do. We in the Church of God must avoid this latter philosophy, which negates the need for true repentance before God.
