It can be discouraging to review the lack of response to the Gospel in our society, but we are not alone. The Bible gives us examples of God's calling to preach righteousness where few responded, but many were nevertheless witnessed to. To bear witness is a very big part of God's plan.

Don Paul Pirwitz was a familiar voice on radio in the Ozarks since 1972. He was ordained in 1998 and served as pastor of the United Church of God in Springfield from 2011-2021. Don and his wife, Sharon, were married for over 50 years. They had three children and six grandchildren.
