The Father of Lies Deceives the Whole World

Having lived in South Africa, and I've mentioned this before, my wife and I have watched in safaris and we have seen a lion kill or at least lionesses prowling and going to try to attack and kill buck deer. In that case, specifically I'm thinking about what they call the water buck. But it really is something interesting to watch because we can see how the lionesses are kind of positioning themselves in different places and very carefully setting themselves up to basically kill the prey. That's what it is. That's the goal. Quite often we forget that the real lion that we have in life, in this world, in this society is actually Satan. So let's look at 1 Peter chapter 5. 1 Peter chapter 5 and in verse 8. And it says, Be sober and vigilant because your adversary, that is our adversary, the devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Now you and I, brethren, know the strategy. Quite often we say, we use the word divide and conquer. Well, I would change that to say cause panic, number one, or put it another way, create anxiety. Then confuse, which I'd say it's like not knowing what is true. People get confused not knowing what's true. Can you see how society is like that today? Creating anxiety. People are saying we don't know what's true. And then what's next? Divide. Where it is? Separate. Create these different camps of opinions.

And then the end result is not just conquer. The end result is kill. Kill. That's why it says here in 1st Peter chapter 5 of site, it says devour, destroy, kill. And Satan wants to destroy God's church and God's people. And basically, I'm talking about physical and spiritual God's people. His aim first is to go to God's spiritual children. But behind that, and to achieve success in that, He has to also destroy His physical children. Physical Israel, of which we are physical Israel. So today, brethren, I want to spend a bit of time discussing to you how the Father of lives.

Which is Satan. Will deceive the whole world and taking it into a prophetic possible scenario, how will things develop in a prophetic way.

Let's look at Revelation 12. Revelation 12 verse 8. In Revelation 12 verse 8, I'll be a part of 12 verse 9, we have here a prophecy that we can see. It's talking about Satan. And it says, the great dragon was cast out that serpent of old called the devil and Satan. Now brethren, this, I believe, has not happened yet. Now imagine when it does happen. Because it says, he deceives the whole world. If you were kind of going through a university degree and you get a degree and a bachelor degree and then you get a master degree and then you get a doctorate.

I would say, Satan has got far more than a doctorate in deception. He has that experience for millions of years. He deceived angels, which are now demons. He's deceived Adam and Eve and he's been deceiving mankind since then. And he tried even to deceive Christ. And boy, is he successful. Because he says, deceives a portion of the world. Oh, no, no, you know, it doesn't say deceives a portion of the world.

He deceives the whole world. And you know, you know, a statement says, you can deceive somebody or he can deceive a group of people, but only for a little time because sooner or later you're going to be caught. Well, he is deceiving so successful that you'll all be caught when Satan stands, when he will be destroyed. Satan will be destroyed at Christ's coming when Christ destroys him and puts him into a symbolic of the day of atonement, puts him into jail during the millennium.

So they cannot deceive during the millennium. And so he says, he was cast out to the earth and his angels, in other words, the demons were cast out with him. And look at a bit later in verse 12. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you dwell in them. In other words, the angelic spirit beings can rejoice, because there will be no more of that bad spirit approaching the throne of God and being around there, but wow to us, inhabitants of the earth, and the sea for the devil has come down to you, having great wrath. So when that will come, he says, you will then really know that he has a short time, because he's going to be thrown down and he knows it probably will be like three and a half years to go.

So this is day, or these are days that are going to come, that are going to be pretty bad. That, you know, it talks about the great tribulation, will be the wrath of Satan, there will be really, this is having great wrath. So, what is it that we need to be aware of them? How does it deceive? How does it deceive so effectively? Very simple. By mixing truth with light.

By mixing truth with light. Now, if you give me a glass of water and it's filthy dirty, because, yeah, you've got a bit of truth, which is water, and a lot of light, which is the dirt, I'm not going to be deceived if you tell me that's clean water, because I'm obviously going to see it and go and jump. This is not clean. But if you give me a glass of crystal clear water, but with a tiny bit of arsenic, it's just as poisonous. And if you tell me this is good water, I want no, because I can't see it, because it's truth, the good water, needs to have a tiny bit of light.

And that's how he deceives. That's how he deceived Adam and Eve. So, what is Satan doing? He has been lying to us, you know, various doctrines, which are complete deception from Satan or by Satan. And you know that a lot of human beings are propagating a lot of lies out there. And people can say, oh well, it's conspiracy theories or whatever it is.

Brethren, the only conspiracy theory is Satan. He is the master architect, because, behind all of us. He is the master conspirator, if there is such a word. So, human beings are just listening to those vibes and being pawns of Satan. They are being stirred by the true liar, which is Satan, through his transmission, like a radio or a television. You can't hear around us radio waves, but if you had a radio, you could tune and pick up music. You and I have a spirit of man in man, which is attuned to certain degree of spiritual attitudes. You sometimes approach some people and you can sense, there is a bit of a problem.

I can sense it. Particularly, probably, ladies can sense it more than us. They, ladies generally have that intuition, which is a little stronger than men. But with God's spirit, we can pick it up, too. Turn with me to Ephesians 2, verse 1 and 2.

Ephesians 2, verse 1 and 2. It says, And you, he made alive, who were dead in trespasses. So, yes, we have been made alive by changing from the old man to the new man, through the baptism and being resurrected symbolically, after coming out of the water, being coming out as a new man, symbolically. Because that's what he says, In which you once walked, verse 2, according to the course of the swathe. In which you once walked according to the way of the swathe.

And this is what happens in the world today. People are listening to different attitudes of people in the world. And where do they get it from? They get it from the prince of the power of the air. So, Satan is broadcasting in a spiritual frequency, and people in the world are picking it up.

And this is the spirit that now works in the people that are disobedient. And in fact, the whole world is disobedient. So, that's what's happening. He is the great, great master deceiver. He is strategizing to get the world ready for an even greater deception to come. Now, the great deception is still to come. But he is already doing some deceiving groundwork. And I'm going to read to you a quote. And you can go, you can search on Google.

All you have to do is enter on Google World Economic Forum Great Reset. You do it, and you'll come out just like this. And the founder and executive chairman of this forum, Klaus Schwab, is quoted by saying, COVID-19 lockdowns may be gradually easing, but anxiety about the world's social and economic prospects is only intensified. You see, like the lion creating this anxiety, the spannic, right? There is a good reason to worry.

Yeah, causing doubt, causing worries, you know. A sharp economic downturn has already begun. And we could be facing the worst depression since the 1930s. But while this outcome is likely, it is not unavoidable. And then a little later he says, and he wrote a book, it says it's on a website, you can go to Amazon and buy it, called The Great Reset written by Klaus Schwab.

He is the chief executive of the World Economic Forum that all world leaders go to in the early beginning of the year. And then he says, to achieve a better outcome. Now, yeah, it's the utopia. Utopia of the leaders and men of business and world leaders of this world, they say, to achieve a better outcome. The world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies.

From education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate in every industry from oil and gas to technology, must be transformed.

In short, we need, quote, a great reset, unquote, of capitalism.

Reverend, is this our hope? Is this our utopia?

Or is our hope cross-return?

Look at it further.

This is from the Forum, WFForum.oig Agenda. How life could change 2030. Now, they've already set up a goal to have this done by 2030. That's ten years from today. And you know, the leaders of all these nations go to the Forum and they all discuss these things.

Then he says, this is kind of putting a vision of how life will be in the year 2030. Quote, welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city. Or, should I say, our city. I don't own anything. I don't own a car. I don't own a house.

I don't own any appliances or any clothes.

It might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense to us. In this city, in our city, we don't pay any rent, because someone else is using our free space whenever we do not need it. My living room is used for business meetings when I'm not there.

Once in a while, I will choose to cook for myself. It's easy. The necessary kitchen equipment is delivered at my door within minutes. Since transport became free, we stopped having all these things stuffed in our home. We keep a pasta maker and a crepe cooker crammed into our cupboards. No! We can just order them when we need them.

Even the Pope! Now, listen to this. Even the Pope is starting to mention the stop of ideas. In April 20, the 24th of April, this year, 2020, Pope Francis said in a letter to the world meeting of popular movements, an organization representing global grassroots organizations, quote from the Pope, this may be the time to consider a universal basic wage, to acknowledge and dignify the noble essential tasks and to achieve the ideal of no worker without rights. So everybody in the world, from the poorest country in Africa to the US, everybody will have the same basic salary, and everybody's happy.

Look at John 8.44. Look at John 8.44. John 8.44. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He is a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him, in our Satan. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own big resources, for he, Satan, is a liar and the father of it. He is the father of lies, who deceives the whole world. Brethren, these things are quoted. They are openly displayed. You can just go and look at it and read.

I am not fabricating it. You can read it. You can search. Is this how things will develop? You see, you will hear words like, build back better. Build back better. Is this our hope for mankind? I know that Christ is going to build back better, but not these people. Not these people. Look at Colossians chapter 2 starting from verse 4. Colossians chapter 2 verse 4.

Colossians chapter 2 verse 4.

It says, Now this as I list anyone should deceive you with persuasive words. Brethren, on these persuasive words, they are persuasive, and the people in the wall are going to go for it.

For though I am absent in flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order, and steadfastness of your faith in Christ, and you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him. Verse 7. Rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Verse 8. Beware. Beware, lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit. Brethren, this is philosophy and empty deceit of the world, inspired by Satan.

According to the tradition of man, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. Brethren, man's ideas are in complete disagreement with God's ideas. It's like two poles apart. Look at 2 Thessalonians 2.

We're gonna read in verse 15. It says, therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or by epistle. Brethren, we need to hold the traditions that have been taught by this word, God's word, and the word of Christ, and the epistles of those that were with Christ, that we can read here in the Bible. And these are the ones that the Church has been giving to us for years. We're gonna hold on to these traditions that we have been taught. Are we? Or are we being deceived? You see, these things are gonna come up that people are gonna start kind of saying, well, that is the Beast Power. It's not! You see, you need to understand scriptures like Daniel 2, which is a statue, an image, and then with Daniel 7, and then you can see with Revelation 13 that it puts together, and that Beast is the one that has been running in the West, and that developed through into Rome, and that the continuation of that Beast through Rome, and the Roman religious belief, that is the one. Not this other fight stuff that is gonna come and distract people, make people confused, anxious, and start dividing people. Brethren, spiritual deception will get worse. This is only the beginning, and you and I have to be focused on God's Word and all the promises we have. Look at 2 Timothy chapter 3. 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 13 through 15. It says, But evil men and impostors, and understand they are inspired by Satan.

And so, no wonder that people in different areas of the world come up with similar ideas.

Because people are picking up these airwaves from the transmitter, which comes, spiritual airwaves, that comes from Satan. So, evil men and impostors will get worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. Yes, people are deceiving, and they are deceived by Satan. See, people are propagating these lies, thinking that they are speaking the truth, but they are deceived, because they have already been deceived by Satan. That's why it says deceiving and being deceived. But, you and I, brethren, we must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you've learned them. We gotta hold on to the truths that we have learned. It's easy to start saying, well, maybe what we knew was incorrect. It's not! Verse 15, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. So, brethren, we know that no Scripture is of private interpretation. We read that in 2 Peter 1, verse 20. And, you know, we get all these things coming out, and people are saying, well, it's some new truth. Whenever I hear the word new truth, my ears break up. It's like a red flag. So, beware. Look at 2 John, chapter 1, verse 9. 2 John, chapter 1, verse 9. 2 John, chapter 1, verse 9. If you can find chapter 2, by the way, tell me what it is. I'm just joking. Anyway, there's only one chapter in 2 John, so, but anyway. Verse 9. And it's all... well, it's, you know, it's talking about deceivers and things like that, and the antichrist. They don't confess that Christ is coming in the flesh. But then it says, whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ. Now, that word transgresses is very interesting, because it actually is implying that goes beyond.

Even at the time of the Apostle John, people were going beyond the doctrine of Christ. In other words, they were adding their little new truths, which you can't. You can't transgress. You can't go beyond the doctrine of Christ. That is it! Fixed! There's nothing new! That is it! It's the doctrine. So, be careful, it says, because whoever does that does not have God, for he abides in the doctrine of Christ as both the Father and the Son. We cannot transgress. We cannot go beyond what Christ gives us. Now, the thing is, people start with these little ideas. And you probably heard some of them. Well, this idea. And then you kind of challenge them, and they say, well, it's not a matter of salvation. And then they come out with a different idea. And they say, oh, well, it's not a matter of salvation. Now, you add all these little ideas, and it actually becomes a matter of salvation. That's the problem. That's the problem. Look at 2 Timothy 4, 2 Timothy 4, verse 1 through 4. 2 Timothy 4, verse 1 through 4. I charge you, therefore, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearance and His kin. Brethren, all these people of their lives, at the day of judgment, it says, you will be judged according to your works. All this will come out. All these lies will come out. Unfortunately, we live in a world which is Satan's, and it's going to get worse and worse. And you and I have to be prepared, because this is going to get worse. And we just have to keep ourselves, as we heard in the sermon, with the breastplate of righteousness, with that robe of righteousness. We've got to put on God's righteousness, not our self-righteous, but God's righteousness. And so continue reading here, verse 2. Preach the Word. In other words, you don't transgress the doctrine of Christ. You don't go above and beyond with some mind ideas. You've got to stick to the Word. Be ready in season out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort with all suffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. But according to their own desires, because they have each in years, they will heap up for themselves their little teachers and ideas. And you're going to come out, people come out of this idea, come out of that, and everybody will follow. If it's a great thing, since it's light so bright, and a couple of years later, oh well, that was fake, but oh, we've got a new one. You know, and it all goes on.

Verse 4, and they will turn their years away from the truth and be turned aside to fables.

In modern language, I'll probably say they will turn aside to fake news, because that's what fables are. You know, it's just stuff which is not true.

Now, the point here is the truth. What is the truth? The truth is what is the doctrines of Christ.

People can come out with, say, well, this is their truth, or that is their truth.

But some of these things that people say, this is the truth, they're not part of the doctrine of Christ. So, erase that, because it's talking about THE truth.

Not an element of truth. Yeah, there's a lot of elements of truth, yes. I'm not saying they're not true, but I'm just saying it's talking about the truth, which is the doctrine of Christ. That's what it's the basic warning here. And the problem is, a lot of these little deviations can add up to something which is big, and it will affect you and I.

You see this concept that is going to get bigger and bigger, called the Great Reset, or to build back better. It's not the hope for mankind. It's fake. You know, I technology companies, those leaders that go to those World Economic Forum, you can see they're all financial and business leaders and presidents of nations. They're already talking about this.

Do you know what this is? Is human reasoning apart from God? Human reasoning apart from God. Now, there's nothing wrong with human reasoning, provided it is within God's principles.

But human reasoning apart from God, it's dangaroos. That's my joke, dangaroos. It's just like this child that went to the zoo and went and saw, yeah, this animal is dangaroos. And then went out to another one and said, well, this animal is dangaroos. So, they went to another one and said, this animal is dangaroos. Then went home and then asked him, what did you see in the zoo? I saw dangaroos! Right, so anyway, just a joke. But the point is, we are living in dangerous times. This is really dangerous. And turn with me to Isaiah chapter 8. Isaiah after Daniel. Daniel, Isaiah. So, let's go to Isaiah chapter 8. Isaiah is an interesting book. Basically, Isaiah is giving certain warnings to Israel. But let's look just at chapter 8. We're going to read through a few sections of chapter 8. And it says, Set the trumpet, that's from verse 1, to your mouth. So, Jonathan, set the trumpet to your mouth. Well, I appreciate that. Music was beautiful, the trumpet was beautiful. I appreciate that. But the eye is talking about, set the trumpet to your mouth. And you know, because the sound of a trumpet is piercing. If Jonathan had, he was kind of holding back there, but if he had really blown up, that would have got the hotel management coming down, says. They had toned down. The sound of a trumpet is powerful. And he says, set the trumpet to your mouth. He shall come like an eagle, against the house of the Lord. Who's he? Now, reading in a context, we know it's Assyria. It's Assyria, because they have transgressed my covenant. Who's they? It's God's people. Look at chapter 6 verse 7, it's an interesting book to read. And rebelled against my law. Brethren, this is what's happening in our nation. There's going to be trouble. Big trouble. And I don't look forward to it. None of us looks forward to it. But for God's grace and mercy, we know that it will protect some of us, if we are close to God. We know there will be a place of safety. There will be. There's no doubt. It's in the Bible. I don't doubt it at all. But not everybody will go to it. Not everybody in the church. The very scriptures looks like maybe just half of us. So maybe some of us, like the ten virgins, some of us are not quite ready. But the country is in trouble. And I just don't mean this country. Every country around the world is in trouble. Because God is not discriminating just one or another. Yeah, punishment will go to the Israelite first. But we'll go to the other nations too. And that's how I talk to the brethren in Portuguese in Brazil. I say, yeah, this is... But it applies to all of us. We have exactly the same problems, yeah, when I mention to the brethren in Brazil. Interesting, Brazil is a country with different states, like yeah. It's got different governors with their own self-decision-making capabilities, just like yeah. And they have exactly the same problems. Even they use the English words for some of these things, like abbreviations, like LGBT or whatever it is. They use exactly the same abbreviations. It's amazing. So when we go through Beyond Today magazine, we translate it into Portuguese. It's perfectly applicable to the Portuguese people. Perfectly. Why?

Because it's Satan that is controlling the game. And these leaders are just pawns in the same game.

So it's not just America that is going down the whole world, and it's going to be a great revelation upon the whole world.

But anyway, continuing, yeah, he says, Israel will cry to me, my God, we know you! Oh yeah! You hear, people will say, oh yeah, we'll go to church and pray, and whatever it is, we know you, God.

But you know what God says? Israel has rejected the good the enemy will pursue him. In other words, God is not going to listen to those prayers.

Look at verse 4. They set up kings, but not by me. Oh, doesn't that sound like elections?

They set up kings, and a lot of it is not in a righteous way, but not by me, not according to God's desire. They make princes, but I did not acknowledge them. From their silver and gold, they make idols for themselves that they may be cut off.

Oh yeah, we make our own idols. Or maybe it's not like, you know, old days, silver and gold, but maybe it's cell phones and laptops and iPads, because they take our time and they become like a guard to us. We've got to be careful. We've got to be careful.

Your cough is rejected. The word yapho-cough, it implies a golden cough.

You know, it was an item of worship, pagan worship. But this word could also be translated here, is that it stinks in God's eyes. It stinks. It smells bad.

The other day, we bought some fish and we opened it up and we started cooking. And wow! There was this aroma filling up the house that I said, what is this? Throw it away!

It's not a wise fault. I mean, we bought it from the shop. It came that way.

But it stinks. We had to open the doors in midwinter and get the air to breathe in the house to actually go. It says, your cough is rejected. It stinks.

A Samaria. In other words, that's the northern kingdom, Israel.

Because of what? False religion. My anger is aroused against them. How long until they attain to ignorance? In other words, how long will it be before the people actually come to repentance?

You see, brethren, this is the world today. O Ya'am, we just read in verse 2, Israel will cry to me and says, my God, we know you.

But God is saying, you stink! I don't want to hear you.

Oh, yeah, you can pray and say, oh God, oh Jesus, Jesus, or whatever people say. And God is saying, it stinks.

Look at verse 7. They sow the wind.

Now, do you know when you sow, you sow a little seed, you know, and then it sprouts and grows into maybe a big bush or a tree or whatever it is.

So they sow the wind and they reap a whirlwind.

You know, the lies that people are sowing, it's like sowing a little thing and you reap a tornado. A whole tornado comes up. It's just... He says, the stalk has no bud. It will never produce milk if it should produce.

Aliens will swallow it up, usually swallow it up. Look at verse 9 at the end of it. They have gone up to Assyria.

That's the future combined, Germany-based, in Europe. That's where the trouble is going to come, brethren, from.

It's not for a worldwide great reset or whatever it is. No. No.

Look at... I'm going to skip. You can read that. And by the way, it says, yeah, well, they'll return to Egypt. That basically means they'll return to captivity because Egypt represents captivity. Where they're going to go to is fall under Assyria. But when it says Egypt is actually too symbolic of captivity. Then it says, verse 14, For Israel has forgotten his maker.

The nations of the world have forgotten God. And they built temples. Judah has multiplied forty-five cities. But I will send fire upon his cities. And the fire will devour their palaces.

You see, brethren, there is trouble.

And it's going to heat us. Not just this nation, but various nations. Not just the states, but Canada, South Africa, Australia. But also countries like Brazil and South America and others. It's going to come.

But people say, wait, wait, wait! Read Hebrews 13 verse 5. Hebrews 13 verse 5. Okay, let's read Hebrews 13 verse 5.

At the end of Hebrews 13 verse 5, it says, I will never leave you or forsake you. And so the people in this world, they are Christian, they say, well, Christ will never leave or forsake us.

God is very gracious, full of grace. And you know, grace has been corrupted as an excuse to do so by God.

And yes, Christ did say, I'll never leave or forsake you.

But let's go back where this is quoted from.

And it's quoted in Deuteronomy 31 verse 6. Deuteronomy 31 verse 6.

And Deuteronomy, as you know, is a repeat of the law.

Just before Moses dies. And then towards the end of the book, we read.

It says, be strong. So God is telling the people of the nation, which they're going to cross and go to the promised land now, after Moses dies. It says, be strong and be of good courage. Do not fear, don't be afraid of them. In other words, of those giants and all those people there. For the Lord your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

So it is quoted in Hebrews 13 from here.

But look a little bit further in verse 16. It says, And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, you will rest with your fathers and this people. That is the Israelites and all these tribes, will rise and play the harlot.

They're going to go to the promised land, and they're going to break my law.

With the gods and foreigners of the land, where they go to be among them, and they will forsake me and break my covenant, which I made with them. God knew that they were going to disobey.

Then my anger shall be aroused against them in that day, and I will forsake them. Well, He just finished saying I won't forsake you.

I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them. So that they will say in that day, Have not these evils come upon us, because our God is not amongst us?

Verse 18, And I will surely hide my face in that day, because of all the evil which they have done, in that they turned to other gods.

You see, God will not stay with people when they sin.

So, God's promise that says, I'll never leave you or forsake you, is conditional.

It's not unconditional. It's conditional.

Look at 1 Corinthians 28. 1 Corinthians 28.

Verse 9-10. 1 Corinthians 28. Verse 9-10.

But a prophet of... I mean 2 Corinthians. 1 Corinthians 28.

As for you, my son Solomon, Know the God of your father, and serving with a loyal heart and with a willing mind. For the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. If you forsake Him, He will cost you off forever.

Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you, brethren, God has chosen us as His people in God's church, to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do it. God has chosen us. Now look at a bit later in verse 20. And David said to his son Solomon, Be strong and of good courage and do it. Do not fear, no, be dismayed, for the Lord your God, my God, will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you until you finish all the work for the service of the house of the Lord. God wants us to serve Him with all our heart and mind, with a loyal heart. If we don't, we'll suffer the results, the consequences of sin.

And that teaches us a lesson.

That's about reaping what we planted. We plant wind and we reap a whirlwind.

But what about our nation today? Oh well, let's look at a very simple scripture of blessings and cursings, right? Leviticus 26. Let's look at it.

Let's talk to Leviticus 23. Remember Leviticus 23? All the holy days? Well, remember Leviticus 26, just a little bit after that. And you can see, in the first section is, if you walk in my ways, and in my statues, it says that in verse 3, you'll have all these blessings. And then from verse 14, it says, if you do not obey me, then you'll have all these curses.

It says cause and effect. And God does not lie. He is faithful. Now, if you look at this carefully, it's actually divided, these curses are divided into five waves of punishment. Look at it carefully. Starting in verse 16, we have the first wave. And it says, I'll also do this to you. I'll even appoint Terah over you.

Could that be 9-11 in 2001, when Terah came to L'Saya, a top point?

And after that, people kind of repented, but it was of short duration. And then what happened? Let's look at verse 18. Second wave. And after all this, if you do not obey me, then I'll punish you seven times more, and I'll break the pride of your power. I'll never forget. I'll never forget. I was watching TV at the end of this day, and the next day, or rather at sunset, was the beginning of the day of trumpets.

And in that evening, on the news, they showed on the stock exchange wall, the numbers tick, tick, tick, tick, and it ended up the fall of the market on that day, in 2008, on the night before trumpets, with the number 7-7-7.

And I said to somebody, well, it's 7-7-7, you know, that ties to me like revelation. 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 lost plagues, time is coming, and then Christ comes symbolic of the day of trumpets. It is odd, but if you look at it, it was then the set decimal point was not 7-7. Indeed, it wasn't. It was 6 and 8, which adds up to 14.

So, could it be the second wave, the market crash, and the beginning of the break of the power, the pride of the power of the American dollar? Okay, sure, the dollar is strong now, but it's because they're pumping, printing money. They're printing money, and, oh, we'll be 6, oh, yeah. And look at the third wave. The third wave is in verse 21. It says, Dan, if you walk contrary to me and are not willing to obey me, I'll bring on you 7 times more plagues. Huh, interesting. Could it be what we're finding this year?

Do you know that it's exactly 12 years after 2008? And 2008 was exactly 7 years after 2001? And do you know 12 plus 7 makes 19? Doesn't that sound interesting, a 19-year cycle? Huh. I'm just speculating. Of course I am. But it's just interesting. Could it be where we are now? I do not know. But let's look at the other two waves. The fourth wave is in verse 23. And it says, And if by these things you're not reformed by me, but continue to walk contrary to me, then I will walk contrary to you, and I'll punish you 7 times for your sins, and I'll bring a sword against you. Interesting. Could that be a civil war? I don't know. When? I don't know. Could that be it? I don't know. But you know, it's good to keep that in mind. And what is the next one? The third wave. Do you know what the first wave starts in verse 27 through 33? And if you read it, it's basically the Great Tribulation. So brethren, are we near? Is this great reset the beast? No. Because there's always some leader or somebody out there that says, well, when verse is and everybody's kind of weak, now it's my opportunity to be the big chief. That's human nature. I'm thinking to everybody and all the other countries who say, oh, well, we'll just submit ourselves and we'll all work together in this happy happy. Now, you see, this great reset will be another utopia which will be unfulfilled. There are towns here in the States, some towns that they said, well, this is going to be a utopia. And you go there today, it became a disaster. It's just another. I believe that this will not be it. I might be wrong. I believe that the pendulum will swing. And you know, when you have this all the way to the left, the pendulum swings with greater strength all the way to the right. And then you'll have dictatorship. And that opens up the way to the beast power. Maybe revolutions in the street or in the street, maybe revolutions in the street or whatever it is, it will bring up that. And therefore, we are near to things nearer than what we may believe. If you look at Matthew 24, it talks about many false ideas. Beware, don't be deceived. If you look at Revelation 13, it says there'll be a beast that will come out of the sea.

What is the sea? The sea is a turbulent wolf. Sea, when it's turbulent, it means like strikes and demonstrations and things. And then out of that, some sort of a lead that comes up. And then you read also Revelation 13 that will be supported by religion. And that will then trigger the Great Tribulation. Brethren, let's look at Matthew 24, verse 15. Matthew 24, verse 15. Matthew 24, verse 15. Matthew 24, verse 15. It says, Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place. Brethren, we're not there yet. There are certain things still to happen. How they'll develop? I don't know. But I gotta stick to what Christ spoke. Not to my own ideas. We gotta wait for that. And then look at it in verse 21. It says, For then there'll be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until the start of the world. And then, look at it in verse 21. It says, For then there'll be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until the start of the world. Nor ever shall be. Things are gonna get worse forever. The day is getting nearer. Look at 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2. 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2.

2 Thessalonians, chapter 2.

Starting reading in verse 1 and 3. And it says, Now brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him. So, when Christ comes and we get together, and we're gonna be with Christ, Do not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter. Don't be deceived by all these funny ideas that are going there, as if from God's ministers, as though the time of Christ had already come.

Let no one deceive you by any means, for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first. Falling away from the truth. That's what it is, from the truth. And the man of sin is revealed. That false prophet is revealed. Look a bit later in verse 7.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, only he who now restrains will do so until he's taken out of the way. The mystery of lawlessness, the spirit is out there. But God is holding it back and says, Not yet, only he knows the time.

And when he is restraining and lets him loose and says, Sighten, get out, you get thrown out of heaven, and all that, then the sin will explode. And then the lawless one will be revealed. You see, that is going to come. Whom the Lord will consume with the breath of his mouth. So it's right at the end when will be destroyed by Christ. The coming of the lawless one, that false prophet, is according to the working of Satan, with all powers, signs, and lying wonders.

Brethren, there will be such miracles, that if it possible, we'll deceive the very elect. You read that in Matthew. The very elect, not just the elect, but the very elect. It's going to be powerful.

Verse 10, And with all unrighteousness, deception, among those who perish, because they do not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Brethren, we have to receive the love of the truth, God's Word, the teaching of Christ, and we've got to be grounded in that, and not in our own ideas. So what's our priority? We heard it in the sermonette. Matthew 16, 33.

Seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. That's one priority. Some people may think, oh well, it's two. The kingdom of God is righteous. No, the kingdom of God is the God. His righteousness is the how-to get to the God. But it's one goal, the kingdom of God, and you get to it through practicing God's righteousness. Not my self-righteousness, but God's righteous.

We all have to become like Christ. You see, the lion is positioning himself for the kill. He's positioning himself for the kill, for great worldwide deception. The great reset, if that comes up, is only a preliminary stage to set that up for something worse, because there will be a swing back to something that follows, which is the beast power. And then, as it says, peace, peace, and then sudden destruction. Look at Mark chapter 4. Mark chapter 4. Mark chapter 4 is yet talking about Mark chapter 4 verses 14 through 20. It's talking about the parable of the sower, and Christ explains. But right at the end says, there are two types.

It says there's one type that it kind of gets caught in the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches. You read that in verse 19. And then there's the other type, which is in verse 20, that bears good fruit, as it says, some 30, some 60, and some 100. Like 100% growth in fruit. So now, if you were to draw a line, a continuous line, from one extreme that says, choked by the cares of the world, and then there's the other extreme that says, bearing fruit 100%, where would you put yourself?

Think about it. Are we choked, or are we bearing fruit? The decision is ours. Christ also spoke about the ten virgins. Five are wise, and five are foolish. Brethren, in that scripture of the ten virgins, it says, I don't know you, but the others were ready to enter an inuretic kingdom. Where will we be?
