In Deuteronomy 14:23, we are told to "learn to fear the Lord your God always." What does fearing God mean? Why is it important, and how do we learn it? Ten points about fearing God. It is foundational to our spiritual lives, because if we do not fear God, we go nowhere spiritually.

Joe Greene

Joe has been a member of God’s Church since 1984.  He and his wife Brenda have spent their careers working with persons with disabilities of all ages.  Joe holds a Masters Degree in Education. Together, Joe and Brenda have been able to serve God’s people in Illinois, Wisconsin and now in Virginia.  Joe was ordained a local elder in April of 2011 and was hired by the United Church of God in 2023 to pastor the Richmond and Roanoke congregations in Virginia, along with serving as the Human Resource Manager for the Church.
