Forgiveness Is an Attitude

Society has pushed on us a sense of moral "justice" and "fair play". That same sense of justice puts a roadblock on a key spiritual attitude that we must embrace as we drive towards God's Kingdom. That attitude is forgiveness, which is a mandate given to us by God. Without forgiveness, we remain victims who are spiritually locked in debtor's prison. As God has an attitude of forgiveness toward us, so must we have that attitude of forgiveness for others.
