This is the first of a two part message on forgiveness. In this Bible Study Mr. Smith looks at the subject of forgiveness in the Old Testament. When Adam and Eve sinned, God did not immediately bring about their deaths to pay for their sin. Instead He instituted a system of physical sacrifices that brought temporary forgiveness. These sacrifices were types of the spiritual forgiveness to come that would be brought about by the death of Jesus for the sins of the world.
