Friendship is a special treasure that we need to maintain and enhance in our lives. God wants us to be friendly to all as we are called God’s friends.
This sermon defines a true friend, how we make friends with others, what we look for in a friendship and how to keep friends. The Bible, especially in the book of Proverbs, has much to say about Godly friendship which will be addressed in this message. There are several examples of close friendships in the Old and New Testaments. Jesus Christ, our Savior, was an excellent example of a true friend as explained in the scriptures.
Let’s treasure our friendships and continually make friends with all of God’s friends.
