The early New Testament church was witness to many miracles, and they saw the gifts of the Holy Spirit working powerfully in many. They desired to have these gifts. But more important than gifts, are fruit. The scriptures tell us that we are known by our fruit. God has a wonderful destiny for us in His kingdom, and if we want to be there, we need to develop the fruits of the spirit, starting with love.
