Brethren, imagine that your cell phones, your computer, your TV, every electronic device that you have, obviously if it's switched on, suddenly stops and has got an alarm like an Amber Alert. And it says, we interrupting this program for an emergency message from the supreme universal ruler, God himself. Wow! Would you pay attention? And the message would be something like this. This is God speaking announcing soon that unless you repent, there'll be more drought, there'll be more floods, there'll be more fires, there'll be more earthquakes, there'll be more war, there will be terrible disasters in the Middle East and in Europe, there'll be more plagues and pandemics, and there'll be utter devastation of worldwide economic and supply chain repercussions. Unless you repent, there will be more. Brethren, God has been speaking to us through His Bible. You and I have been warned, and you and I are seeing things around us. We heard even in opening prayer today, we praying for rain, because we have not had rain in this area for months. The temperature has been well over in the hundreds for those that work in Fahrenheit, over 38, going onto 40 degrees Celsius. So, it's been very, very dry. I know a number of you are continuously trying to drink water. You only need that. Brethren, I am not enjoying giving this sermon, because it's a warning. It doesn't give me any pleasure, because we need to repent. And you and I know society will not repent. You and I know society will not repent. So, you and I know what's going to happen next. Look with me at Matthew 24, please, verse 3 through 8. Matthew 24, verse 3 to 8. And in Matthew 24, it talks about when the disciples came to Christ at a mount, and they asked Him, what will be the end of these things? And then He says, don't be deceived, don't be deceived by julier of wars and rumors of wars. Brethren, we are on the verge of war. Or you and I and the politicians can say, no, it's fine. I don't know when, it's a question of time.
It's a question of time. But China will take over Taiwan. And that's going to be serious stuff, because we're not going to stand just allowing it. And there's going to be some serious conflicts.
If we allow it, what will be the repercussions to Japan, to South Korea? And to Europe? But it's going to happen. And you're going to see drastic changes in Europe, like you've never seen before.
Dictatorship will come in the form of the beast power, because this will trigger it. This will trigger it. Famines and other troubles will come. And then you read, there's not just wars, but it says, in verse 7, National rising against nation, kingdom against kingdom, will be famines, pestilence, and earthquakes. Yeah, result of war is lack of food. This disease is spread. And there's also earthquakes. And brethren, God is allowing it. God is removing the protection and the blessings, because we as a nation, as a world, have sinned.
And we will not repent. Oh yeah, a few of us. You know, like a little bit of salt on the earth, a few of us, you and I are just a sprinkling of the whole earth population, but the earth will not repent. And you compare that with the four horsemen of the apocalypse in Revelation 6, the white horse being false ideologies and religion and all that, motivating people to be behind them, and then the red horse having wars, and then the black horse, which is basically hunger, and then the pale horse, which is death through plagues and diseases and things like that.
I don't enjoy, as I mentioned, giving this sermon. But it is my duty, as God's minister, to warn us all, but also to give you hope. And my intent today is to not only to give you bad news, but to give you hope. Because there is a hope. Because God is in charge. And you will not allow this to be the end of the world. You see, what we see is like three, basically, new world orders being developed, or three axes. One is the north and east, which include nations like Russia, China, Korea, and others, including Persia, which is Iran, and nations like India. They'll form one axis, the north and east. There will be another axis, which you know, it's probably led by Sunni Muslims in the Middle East. And then there will be the Europeans. There will be a woken up to this, and they'll say, uh-uh, and that will lead to the beast power.
And big things are going to happen, and they will be triggered by false ideology, because the white horse leads to the red, and then leads to the black, and leads to the pale. So it's one after another. And brethren, if you read Revelation 6, verse 8, Revelation 6 verse 8, and turn with me, please, to Revelation 6 verse 8.
Revelation 6 verse 8.
It says, And so I looked a pale horse, and the name of him who sat on it was Death and the Grave, Hades, which is a grave. Basically, there'll be a lot of dying through plagues, or whatever it may be, and followed him. And then the next verse, or the next section, could actually be a different verse, because it says, And power was given to them. Who is them? Them is the white horse, the red horse, the black horse, and the pale horse. Power was given to them, those four horses, over a fourth of the earth. Do you know what a fourth of the earth is? It's 25% of mankind. It's a quarter of Dallas. It's a quarter of New York City. It's a quarter of the United States. It's a quarter of Brazil. It's a quarter of the whole world.
To kill them with the sword, which is the red horse, with hunger, which is the black horse, and with death, which is the pale horse, and by the beasts of the earth. The beasts of the earth are these horrible leaders. That's what the beasts of the earth is. You know, it talks about the mark of the beast, and these beasts, you know, you're looking at Daniel's talking about these beasts. These are the beasts of the earth. These are the leaders with the carnal minds, with evil minds, creating great hurt on humanity.
And that brethren is before verse 9, which is the fifth seal, which is the great tribulation.
That brethren is before the great tribulation. Now, we have not often talked about the time between whatever took the great tribulation. But I think Leviticus 26 gives us a good clue of that period of time. So let's turn to Leviticus 26 very briefly, brethren. Now, let's turn to Leviticus 26.
Because the first part of Leviticus 26 is basically saying, if you obey God, you will be blessed. But then, starting in verse 14, it says, but if you do not obey, he has punishments.
And I would like to subdivide this section into five, what I call, waves of punishment. In verse 14, 15, and in fact verse 16, and that section is the first wave. It says, if you don't obey me, I will breathe upon you the first wave. And obviously, the details are often applied to old-time Israel. But the principle is that there will be a first punishment, and somewhere along the line in there, it emphasizes terrorism. And we do have terrorism in our society. Then it comes the second wave, if you don't repent. And brethren, this is God speaking to us. And it says, then I'll punish you in verse 18, seven times more for your sins. I'll break the pride of your power.
And since the economic crash of 2008, the pride of our power is falling. Terror, in a sense, was 2001 or 9-11. And then God gives us time. And then we get to the third wave of punishment, which starts in verse 21. And it says, and if you still don't walk, I'll bring you seven times more plagues. And we have had, and we are having that today, since 2020. So we've had, and we are through the third wave. And so what is the fourth wave? The fourth wave starts in verse 23 through 25. And it says, if you still don't obey me, I'll punish you seven times more, and I'll bring a sword against you. That is war, brethren.
Against you.
Are we seeing the drums of war being played now in Taiwan? And after what happened in Afghanistan and what is happening in Ukraine, are we aware? Or we just like the proverbial ostrich putting our head in the sand and says, we are kajak.
The nation is not repenting. We heard in the sermonette how these sins are just prevailing in society. And it's not going to change. People are not going to repent. So this is... it's as good as it will happen.
How long? I don't know. I'm not here a set times. But I think it's shorter than you and I think. And you and I can't say, oh, well, this has already happened before. It's just a game. And then it'll get better, whatever it is. Brethren, this is getting worse and worse and worse. It's gonna burst.
And then what is the fifth wave? The fifth wave starts in verse 28. And then it says, if it says, I'll chastise you as seven times more, and I'll destroy and I'll lay your city's waste. And look at verse 32. I will scatter you. Brethren, that is the beginning of the great tribulation. So we've had first wave, we had second wave, we had and we are towards the end of the third wave. The fourth wave is about to happen. And after that is the great tribulation. Are we asleep?
As I mentioned to you, brethren, I don't enjoy giving the sermon.
Look at what God says to society. Let's just look at a few scriptures in Jeremiah chapter 6. Jeremiah chapter 6.
We'll start, read first verse 10.
To whom shall I speak and give warning that day may year?
Yeah, God has given all these warnings and they're not listening. We've had the gospel preached, we've had the plain truth, the Beyond Today magazines, we've had these going out and people say, oh well, we're just not doing good enough because there's not enough people in the church. Brethren, that is not a problem. The problem is people are dull of yearning. The problem is indeed the year is uncircumcised. That is a problem. And they cannot give heed. That's the problem. Look at verse 13, still in Jeremiah 6, because from the least of them unto the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness. That's what's happening in the world today. Covetousness, sin, sexual sins all over the place.
And from the prophet, even to the priest, from the politician to the leader of the nation, it says everyone deals falsely. They speak lies. You just have to open the news and they're lying through their teeth.
And it says, and they have also healed the hurt of my people slightly. Oh yeah, they make little band-aid fixes. But they create more problems with those band-aid fixes, saying, peace, peace, when there is no peace. Turn with me, please, to Jeremiah 7 verse 16. Jeremiah 7 verse 16. Therefore, this is God telling Jeremiah, and it's to us. This is going to get to a point that God is telling us this. Therefore, do not pray for those people. Wow! God is saying, don't pray for these people anymore.
Nor lift up the cry or pray for them, or make intersection to me, for I will not hear you.
So yeah, you and I can pray for other people, and I'm not saying don't, but there will be a time when God will not hear that prayer because the people have not repented.
Turn with me to 2 Kings chapter 21, 13 through 15. 2 Kings chapter 21, 2 Kings chapter 21, 13 through 15. It's talking about the nation, yeah, but it's applicable to the whole world, to the whole of society. 21 verse 13. And I'll stretch over Jerusalem in measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahaia, and I'll wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
So I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance and deliver them into the hand of the enemies. In other words, into the Great Tribulation. I'll wipe them out like a filthy dirty dish, and throw it in the burner.
Is God angry with our nation or not?
Look at Ezekiel chapter 5. Ezekiel chapter 5. Now, remember, Ezekiel wrote his prophecy after Israel had gone to captivity. Ezekiel wrote his prophecy after Israel was already in captivity, was the lost 10 tribes. So they already lost 10 tribes. But he has a message to Israel.
And you, Son of Man, take a sharp sword, take it as a barber's razor, pass it to your head and your beard, then take scales to weigh and divide the air. You shall burn with fire one-third in the midst of the city. So take your hair and burn a third of it. And when the days of the siege are finished, then you shall take one-third and strike it around of the sword, the third of the head. And then one-third you'll scatter in the wind. And I'll draw out a sword after them. And you also shall take a small number of them and buy them in the edge of your garment. And then take some of those again and throw them in the midst of the fire and burn them in the fire. From there, the fire will go out into all the house of Israel. And remember, the house of Israel was already in captivity and dispersed. So this is a prophecy for today. So that's enough about bad news. Now I want to talk to you about good news. But I want you to know that God is angry with the nation, and He's going to get to a point, He's not going to listen to prayers anymore, and there's going to be serious punishments.
But let's now look at the context in a different way. And the context is that if you read in Revelation 12, Revelation 12, Revelation 12, it's talking about a war in heaven. You read in verse 7, And war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels thought, there's going to be a war in heaven. Now, yes, there was a war previously. This is the second war. And this war is probably soon to happen.
And then, Satan and the demons will be thrown out of heaven. And then in verse 12, you see, they have great wrath, and they come to earth. And that is very probably, I speculate, yeah, but very probably when the Great Tribulation will start, because he's very angry. And therefore, then he says, And when the dragon saw that it had been cast out to the earth, he persecuted the woman, which is God's church.
And so, this whole pysine with Scriptures in Daniel, about 13, 35 days, 1290, 1260, and there'll be a time when the church will stop its work. And it'll be persecuted, and it will have to flee. And that's what he's talking about. He's going to persecute the woman, the church. Organized to work, like the Beyond Today magazine and all that, will cease. Cease.
So, and he persecutes the woman, and he says in verse 14, But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness to a place where she's nourished for a time, times, and half a time, for three and a half years, from the presence of Satan. So, Satan has no access to where the church will be protected. The church will be protected. And that is just before the Great Tribulation, because we see that then he is arranged because God allows that portion of the church to be protected. And then in verse 17 says, Satan, the dragon, was enraged with the woman, that's the church, and he went to make war with the rest of the offspring of the woman, the rest of the members of the church. So, part of the church will be protected, and part of the church will not be protected. And those, even those that will not be protected, they are still defined as those that keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. So, yeah, we have, brethren. There is going to be a protection.
Turn with me to Zephaniah chapter 1, I beg your pardon, chapter 2, Zephaniah chapter 2, verse 1 through 3. Zephaniah, Zephaniah, Zephaniah, what happened to my Zephaniah? Disappeared.
There it is. It's coming. There it is. All right. Zephaniah chapter 3, I beg your pardon, chapter 2, verse 1 through 3. Gather yourselves together. Yes, gather together. Oh, undesirable nation. Who's the undesirable nation? God's people. The church of God. You and I are an undesirable nation to Satan and his leaders. Before the decree is issued, or the day passes like chaff, because the Lord's fierce anger comes upon you. Before the day of the Lord's anger comes upon you. Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld his justice. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. That it may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger.
So, brethren, there will be a protection. The question is, are we amongst those? You see, we live in a time where its people can say, oh well, things are okay, but we have to be careful not to fall asleep. We have to be careful to be awake. In 1 Thessalonians chapter 5, 1 Thessalonians chapter 5, can you hear me? I think the PA kind of went down, so I was talking a little louder. Can you hear me? Okay. All right. Sorry, for a moment I thought the sound had gone down and you couldn't hear, so that's why I start talking a little louder. Sorry. 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 3. It says, For then they'll say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them. 2 And then a little lighter in verse 6 says, Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. This is a real danger for us in the church. 3 It's a real danger for us in the church.
Are we falling asleep? Are we okay, Jack? Or are we getting closer to God? Are we being meek and seeking justice and being teachable? 4 Look at Matthew 24. Let's go back to Matthew 24. In Matthew 24, Christ in this section, verse 32, starting in verse 32, He's talking about the parable of the fig tree. 5 And now learn the sparrowable from the fig tree. And then He says, Well, you know, when it starts budding, you know it's summer. And then in verse 34, He says, Surely I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 6 Brethren, all these things are happening now. They never happened before. This is like never before. And you say, Oh, well, it happened before the Second World War. No, it didn't happen this way before the Second World War, because before the Second World War, we were not preaching the gospel to the whole world as a witness. Matthew 24, 14, before the Second World War, we were not preaching the gospel to the world as a witness. We are now. It's different. And the situations are very different. The armaments and the things people have now are very different, far more dangerous. And then it goes on in verse 36 through 44. It says, You know, of the day and hour, no one knows. And even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Now, no one knows the day. Okay. But Daniel 12 tells us from a certain time, there is a countdown of days. So what is it that no one knows the day? No one knows the day when that countdown begins.
That's very important for us to understand. And that means it's that when that countdown begins is when, basically around the time period when the church will be protected, nobody knows when that day comes that the church will be protected. And then there's a countdown, according to Daniel.
And then there it says in verse, continuing from verse 36, it says, You know, they do not know, like in the days of Noah, until the flood came. What is the analogy of the flood? When they went into the ark is when they do not know. There was days before the rain. So it's talking about when they were protected. And then you look at again and it says, and there were two men in the field. One was taken, the other was left. Two women will be grinding at the mold. One will be taken, one left. What if it is talking about two people in the church? One is working in this area, one is taking the other, one is left. What if it's talking about that? Because you know, it ties in with Matthew 25, the parable of the ten virgins. Five were wise and five were not foolish. There are some strong messages that can be applied to us today. So let's look at again. And it says, therefore, a forty-two watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour the Lord is coming. We don't know what hour the Lord is coming.
We don't know when all these things are going to be triggered. You and I don't know.
But know this, if the master knew when the thief would come, you would be watching. Are we watching? 44. Therefore, be ready. And then look at verse 45. And then, well, who's the faithful servant? And it says, he will find so doing. Oh, he's so doing. And surely I say to you, that will make him ruler of the world. But if that evil servant in his heart says, my master is delaying his coming. Brethren, don't say that. Oh, well, there's plenty of time. Could be another twenty years. I'd be surprised if there is twenty years, brethren. I'm kind of even surprised if there's ten years. I'm not setting time, but I'm saying it's near. We've got to wake up, brethren. 45. But there will be protection.
Look at 2 Peter. 2 Peter 3. 2 Peter 3. 2 Peter 3. 42. And people are saying, where's the problem if he's coming? You know, oh, this has happened, and this has happened again. How do we know this is really the time? Maybe it's not really the time it will be on. Yeah, I need to repent. I need to be. But, you know, there's plenty of time. Brethren, don't forget. He says, you know, like again, he gives the example of the flood. This is serious stuff, brethren. And that's why it says in verse 11, therefore, repent. What sort of conduct you need to have, holy conduct, and in godliness. So what do we need to do, brethren? Luke 21. Luke 21 verse 34. Luke 21 verse 34. Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with the different things of the world. And then this all comes upon you as a snare. And verse 46, watch therefore, watch what? Watch you and I. Watch ourselves. Watch our attitudes. And pray that you and I may be accounted worthy to escape. Pray that you and I may be accounted worthy to escape. There is going to be an opportunity to escape. But the question is, will you and I be counted worthy to escape? Counted worthy by whom? By God. It's not a question to say, oh well, I'm packing and tomorrow we're going to Petra. Well, you never know. Number one, when it is. And number two, when? No man knows a day or an hour. And what's more, it will not be your choice because it says, pray that you may be accounted worthy. It doesn't say, pray that you'll make the right choice. Look at Revelation chapter 3. Revelation chapter 3 verse 10. Revelation chapter 3 verse 10. Talking out to those that have brotherly love. And it says, because you kept my commandment to persevere in godly love. How do we treat one another? Yes, we have to stand in the truth, brethren. But we must stand in loving care. Like in the sermonette, very good sermonette. I appreciated that because it showed we have, we hate the sin, but we love the sinner. We've got to have loving care for these people. Some people are struggling. We need to be kind and loving to them. But because you've kept the word, the command to persevere, I will keep you from the hour of trial, which will come upon the whole world. Brethren, the Great Tribulation will be to the whole world. It will be to America, it will be to Brazil, it will be to China, it will be to the UK, it will be to Japan, the whole world, the whole world.
And it says, I will keep you. I think we can trust God's word. If he says he will, he will. So he says he will protect us. But the question is whether we are part of that group, we shall call them the Five Wise Virgins. Or are we going to be part of the other group? We are the Five Foolish Virgins, which are also in the Church of God, which are described in starting from verse 15 of the same chapter. I know your works, that you are a cold, not cold, no hot, I'm okay, Jack. I wish you were either one way or the other.
See, it's very interesting because in Laodicea they had two sources of water, and one source of water came through aqueducts from an area that gave them hot water, and the other source of water came with an aqueduct that gave them cold water. But because of the long distances, when they got the water in Laodicea, the water was lukewarm. So the cold water wasn't cold, like you want sometimes cold water, and the warm water wasn't, the hot water wasn't hot. So I wish you were either cold or hot, but you just need that. That was the problem here, and it says because you say I'm rich, I'm okay, I've got a lot of things, I'll be fine, whatever, whatever. Then it says, as many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. He also says, I counsel you to buy from me gold tried in the fire, which means that I am giving you an advice to go through the great tribulation.
So what do we have, brethren?
We have us in the church, and we have the wall out there. The wall is not going to repent. God will continue giving them the warning, but they're not going to repent. But what about us? Are we going to work on being more loving, like having that first love, more of Philadelphia love, brotherly love towards one another? And yes, when we see things wrong, and we see our children doing things wrong, are we going to do it in a loving, caring way?
We really have to put that to practice, brethren. We've got to be loving. So if we are, we may be counted worthy to escape. And also, it says to stand in the day of the Son of Man with the Son of Man. In other words, to be in the first resurrection, or transformed to be spirit beings. But if not, then it will be those that Satan will turn to, the rest of the woman is going to persecute them. It will be in the great tribulation. Now, is that the end? No, because God is loving. You see, you don't want to go through the great tribulation because many will die through it.
But if you are in the great tribulation, or some of the brethren or people we preach the gospel to, and they have not repented, and they go into the great tribulation. When this happens, what will they say? I should have listened to what it said in that Beyond Today program, or in that magazine. I should have done that. And what are they going to do? Some of them, and many of them will repent. And when they repent during the great tribulation, God will be merciful to a number of them. And that's why you read in Revelation 7, which is sandwiched at the end of the sixth seal and before the seventh seal.
Revelation 7, a great multitude will be sealed and protected. Look at me. Look with me, please, to Revelation 7. Revelation 7. Verse 14. And there are these people with white robes. You and I are now with white robes, because we had our robes washed in the blood of the Lamb, and we have access to God's throne. You read that in Hebrews chapter 10. So you and I are like those people, so they are physical human beings. And it says, where do these people come from? In verse 14, it says, these are the ones who came out of the great tribulation.
In other words, they survived the great tribulation, and they have repented, and they've been baptized, and they want to live and go God's ways. And it says, they will have that opportunity. They will be protected. You read a little later, during the seven trumpets, which is that last year after the heavenly signs, after they are sealed, you hear that some of them will not be killed, and will be protected, and will not be hurt by those seven trumpets.
Those trumpets. So those are physical people. Those will probably be, some of them, well, will be changed into spirit beings, but many of them will probably be the physical human beings who will be pioneers into the world tomorrow. So brethren, what we have here is, God is merciful.
God is very merciful. God is giving to the world time to repent, but if they don't repent, they'll go into the great tribulation. You and I need to be close to God, need to be wise virgins. If we're wise, we'll be protected, counted worthy to escape. If we're not wise, if we're foolish, we may have to go in with the others as well into the tribulation. Those of us that go into the great tribulation will be underground helping and teaching those people while the two witnesses are preaching, and will say, yeah, you should have repented, and yeah, I should have repented, I should have done more, but let's now repent, and those people that change, they will be protected.
There's many scriptures about that. Look at Joel chapter 2 verse 31 and 32. Joel chapter 2 verse 31 and 32. Joel chapter 2 verse 31 and 32. It says, the sun will be turned into darkness and immemorial into blood. That is the sixth seal, the heavenly signs, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. That's the seventh seal, which are the seven trumpets. And then he says, and who come to pass, that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
They will be protected from those days ahead. So there will be a protection. Brethren, we've got to repent while there is time. In Isaiah 55 verse 6, Isaiah 55 verse 6, it says, Isaiah 55 verse 6.
55 verse 6. Seek the Lord while he may be found. Call upon him while he's near. Brethren, there is time for you and I to draw close to God. He will protect us. He will protect our children, but we've got to do our part. Seek the Lord while he may be found.
