The term “geopolitics” is seldom used in day-to-day conversation, but plays a special role in the course of biblical, as well as modern history. Defined, it is “the study of the influence of geography on politics, national power or foreign policy of a state.” Viewed in the larger sense of how geography affects the nations through history, the greatest “Professor” of geopolitics is God. Why and how does God use geopolitics to accomplish His purposes?
