Do we settle for being good when we can become even better? Are we trying to meet the bare minimum requirements to enter the Kingdom of God, or are we making our calling and election sure? As a Christian, God expects us to make our calling and election sure.

Duane Phelps

Duane Phelps is a deacon serving in the Cincinnati East congregation along with his wife Lisa (deaconess).  He and his wife are active in the church’s teen and preteen camp programs, as well as WFW.  Duane and Lisa are lifelong members of the Cincinnati congregation.  They have two daughters, Victoria (Dowd) and Jennifer.
