God’s grace is most revealed through the meaning of the 8th day. It is God’s desire to extend grace to all people. It is only by receiving and responding to grace they can achieve salvation. Grace and salvation come only through Christ. What is grace? Do we need grace for salvation? Is it for all people? How does this day figure into the plan? Most of humanity would be lost without what this day portrays for them. All will have the opportunity to live with the knowledge of God and His way and be judged with fairness and grace.

Rainer pastors congregations in Calgary, Red Deer, Winnipeg and Regina. He served as the chairman of the National Council for 20 years. He also chairs the Ministerial Services team in Canada. He was born in Finland and grew up in Canada. He is an Ambassador graduate of 1969 and has served in the church and ministry since that time. He and his wife, Claudia, were married in 1970. They have two married daughters. Claudia, has run her own home-based upholstery business over 25 years. They enjoy hunting, fishing and camping and their three grandchildren.
