The Grateful Leper

When Jesus cleansed ten lepers in one healing, only one came back to give Him thanks and worship. The obvious lesson is having an attitude of thanksgiving for what God has done for us. As we dig deeper into the story of the grateful leper, we see that he was separated from the people for his uncleanness. Likewise, we have been separated from God by our sins. Christ told the cleansed leper to present himself to the priest. We are to present ourselves, now cleansed from sin, to our High Priest. We are to be like the grateful leper, giving thanks that we have been cleansed and offer ourselves in service to Him.
