Guilt, Shame and Regret, Oh My

During this season we often hear messages about the importance of examining ourselves. This is great, but when we do these examinations, do we let ourselves become down or shameful or feel guilty for thinking about the sins we've committed? Satan would love for us to to get caught up in these emotions and fail to realize God's love for us and promise to us is that He will not hold our forgiven sins against us. Let's go to God's Word to learn some crucial lessons about self-examination.
