The human body contains many systems that enable it to function as God intended, but none of them work in isolation. God uses "the heart" in scripture as a metaphor and figuratively to address who and what He is and what we are as the "inner person." We can explore a few of the nearly 100 scriptures covering this vital subject and how we develop a "pure" heart.
