In this study Mr. Smith addresses the instructions Paul gave to Timothy in how to deal with the false doctrines some were trying to bring into the church at Ephesus. Paul instructs him to deal strongly with these false teachings, but at the same time he instructs him to do so with humility and love toward the brethren. Paul also reviews his own conversion to illustrate God's great mercy in forgiving those who respond properly to God's correction.
