Increasing Our Hope

The apostle Paul admonishes every Christian to rejoice in hope. By following that command, it helps us to be deeply anchored in what we believe. When trials come our way, our hope is a type of foundation for remaining confident in the promises of God. This sermon offers four ways in which the scriptures remind us to grow in hope.

Doug Wendt is a 1977 graduate of Ambassador College with a BS in Physical Education. His career included work as an electrician and General Contractor. Doug was ordained into the ministry in 2013 and  previously served congregations in Orlando, Jacksonville and Ocala, Florida. He now pastors the United Church of God congregations in St Petersburg and Tampa, Florida.
