The bible admonishes Christians to increase their hope. To follow that command, it requires a desire to be deeply anchored in what we believe. When trials come our way, our hope provides a solid foundation for remaining confident in the wonderful promises of God. This sermon offers four practical ways in which the scriptures remind us to abound in hope.

Doug Wendt

Doug Wendt is a 1977 graduate of Ambassador College with a BS in Physical Education. His career included work as an electrician and General Contractor. Doug was ordained into the ministry in 2013 and  previously served congregations in Orlando, Jacksonville and Ocala, Florida. He now pastors the United Church of God congregations in St Petersburg and Tampa, Florida.
