Paul discusses Israel's need for the good news, but notes Israel's rejection of the gospel. There are similarities that we find in our society today. While there is a great need for the good news, there seems to be more of a desire to deny it's power, and to mold a religious view into our own image. Let's look at scripture today that will help us to understand the alert that Paul was trying to deliver to Israel and how it might apply to us today.
