Successful implementation of projects in business requires three things: (1) an understanding of what is required and expected; (2) the means for accomplishing what is required and expected; and (3) an individual willingness to do what is required and expected. That third component is vital for success. In the spiritual realm, nothing is more personal in our lives than our calling from God. God the Father looked into our lives and called us. It is then our personal responsibility to make "our calling and election sure".

Fred Crow is an elder with United Church of God; pastor of the Eureka and San Jose, California congregations. Fred retired from the aerospace industry in 2015. He has two daughters and eight grandchildren. He wrote a newspaper column, was a published cartoonist, taught scuba diving, and is a writer, photographer, and traveler.
