The joy of the Lord gives us strength as we wait, because the Feast of Trumpets reminds us that generations of longing, brokenness, and unfulfilled promises will reach their turning point in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the return of Jesus Christ. This day will culminate in judgement, mercy and the fulfillment of His promises to His first fruits.
