Judaism, the Religion of the Jews

Many “Christians” assume that the religion of the Jews at the time of Christ was essentially the law of Moses with a few minor tweaks. As we will see over the series we are beginning today, Judaism is the invented religion of the Jews and NOT the religion of the Old Testament Scriptures. Time and again, we see that Christ was in direct conflict with the scribes and Pharisees of the New Testament who taught Judaism, but NOT the law of Moses.
