Israel was told, after being removed from Egypt, to REMEMBER: to remember where they came from (slavery), to remember their rescue (being pulled out of slavery), and to remember their Rescuer - God and His power and might. It is the same with us today; we need to remember that we were held as slaves by the god of this world, satan; to remember that we, too, were rescued from our adversary through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and that we need to remember the love, power, and glory of our God. By remembering, we will develop a deep and close relationship with God; we will have trust and confidence and faith in God, our Father, and Jesus Christ, our Brother.
