Lessons from a Shipwreck

As we go through these months of trials in the world and in our nation -- a pandemic, political wrangling and social unrest among them -- we can learn lessons from a long duration trial and epic shipwreck that the Apostle Paul and others endured. Sometimes the winds in our lives are contrary. Sometimes we suffer because others make bad choices. Sometimes we need to see what's coming instead of seeing the current conditions. Sometimes we have to sacrifice valuable resources just to survive. And sometimes all hope is lost. In all those moments, we need to remember God is there, and He cares for us.
