Given on the Day of Independence of 2020, David Jones discusses the parallels of our nation's history and the Biblical Year of Jubiliee. The year of Jubilee was a time where every single individual found themselves free from slavery, or debt, when the people would give a great shouting, or teruah, that rang throughout all of the land celebrating their liberty. Likewise, David Jones shares the story of William Penn and how Philadelphia, Pennsylvania became the birthplace of our nation where people also gathered together in 1776 to celebrate their freedom of religion by ringing the Liberty Bell, a bell that became the symbol of freedom for our nation. He explains that although this nation has been blessed by God with freedom it's not because the United States is God's nation, rather it's because the people within the nation declared God as supreme. However, one day everyone will witness the ultimate day of freedom that is still yet to come that will also be followed by a great day of shouting that will pale in comparison to any past jubilee or liberty bell ringing.
