The sermonette begins with a contrast between Deuteronomy 14:26 and verse 23. We are to rejoice at the Feast, but we are also to learn and see the many blessings that God provides, noting the end of verse 23 which gives us the "why"  we are here -- that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always.
