As for Me and My House: The Call to Spirit-Led Fatherhood

In a culture that increasingly questions the necessity—and even the value—of fathers, God’s Word offers a radically different message: fathers matter deeply. This Father’s Day message explores the spiritual responsibility and powerful legacy of godly fatherhood.

Starting in Joshua 24, where the challenge is issued to “choose this day whom you will serve,” the message reminds us that a father's choice impacts not just his own household, but future generations. From there, it outlines four vital qualities of a Spirit-led father:

Walks in integrity – letting his actions speak louder than his words

Shows compassion – reflecting the tenderness and mercy of God the Father

Models trust in God – teaching faith through lived dependence on God

Disciplines with love – not in anger, but with a heart to guide and protect

This is a call to reject cultural stereotypes, stand firm in biblical truth, and be the reason your children know and trust God.
