In Hosea 2, we see the story of our lives. We render our lives forfeit through our carnal rejection of God. But the nature of God is one of extreme compassion and love. As with the prophetic story of God and his love for Israel, he has compassion upon us, brings us to him, and ultimately enters into a covenant of deepest love with us.
