We live in very difficult times today. Everything is upside down. We are in great trouble as we look at the world today. There is great stress, great difficulties. And a question would be, is world peace possible? Well, world peace is not possible under man's government. Clearly, it's not possible. People are self-centered. And as we read in James chapter 4, it says, Why are there wars amongst yourselves? Let's quickly just glance to it. James chapter 4. James chapter 4.
Why are there wars amongst yourselves? We're going to start in verse 1. And it says, Are they not? Because we have our own desires, our own wishes, to do things our way. And therefore, there are these little struggles.
And then in the end, they're basically lighter in verse 5. It says, What do you think that the Scriptures, that means the Bible, says in vain, The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealousy. And that means our human spirit, our carnal mind, is basically carnal. And that is our problem. And then it gives us a solution, is that we really gotta be humble. It says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
So humility is a real problem, or lack thereof, is a real problem in the world today.
There's nothing new, brother. This has been from the days of Adam and Eve. There's nothing new. It's the same problem. Lack of humility. Man wants to have their own way, each one wants to have their own thing. And you go back to even the time of the flood. And you know, just before the flood, what happened. You know, they wanted to build a tower.
What, mankind was evil first, and then we had the Tower of Babel later, but mankind was evil. And God had to bring the flood to slow it down. Then mankind started building itself up again, and then you read the time of Nimrod, and the Tower of Babel, mankind again wanted to have their own things and their own ways.
And they said, well, let's build a tower that will go up to heaven.
And you're reading there that God said nothing will stop mankind from greater and greater things. God knows the incredible capabilities of our brain, of doing what we do, the capabilities of science, the capabilities that God has given us are amazing. You read, you look at technology today, things that we can do today. I mean, Kathy and I, we drove to Cincinnati, and a number of times we had to really completely rely on GPS.
And there were times, here's a cage, there's a blockage on the road, yeah, do you want to take this? And we go through these side streets. I would have never known that. And yeah, we got there within whatever times and things like that. You and I would have never guessed this 20 years ago. I mean, I remember 20, 30 years ago, I would have to buy these maps, you know, and I had this atlas of maps, and look at the street, and look at where to go, and we had, whatever we went from one state to another, maybe you had to get another state map of the roads and the maps, and look at where we're going to go.
Now I just plug it into GPS, and, well, it tells me to go. At the same time, on this little phone, I turn on to UCG radio. Have you ever listened to UCG radio? Well, you've got sermon after sermon, reading of a book of UCG, or reading of an article, and you can be listening to this all the way on the driving, anywhere around the world, 24 hours a day, and it's being transmitted from UCG Australia, and they're doing it, and we can listen to that.
If you haven't done it, and you're driving around occasionally, listen to it. It's actually quite worthwhile. So it's just a little app. You look for UCG radio, and you download it on your phone, but what I'm talking about is the capabilities. Would you have thought 20 years ago that this was possible? No. Imagine what would be possible in another 20 years' time, if we have that time. You see, so God had to, at the days of the Tarot Bible, he had to slow down mankind. How did he slow it down? You and I know. He gave different languages. Now suddenly people went to different languages. People told him, this language, that language, that he had a language, and that became a Bible, you know, a confusion.
Well, God was separating different nations and bringing them to slow down the development. But what have we got today? Today, basically, we have one international language, which is English. You can go anywhere around the world, and you practically can get around reasonably okay, just with English. I mean, you can go to some countries which have very little, but for instance, we got to the feast in Brazil, and we got a few brethren here from the States.
You got a few brethren from Brazil, and what they do? They go on to a little Google Translate thing, and they speak to it in Portuguese, and then they give it to the English brethren, and it says the same thing in English. Or vice versa. The other one says it in English, and it gives it to the Portuguese, and says the same thing in Portuguese. There's a dynamic translator. Perfect?
No. But 95% is okay. And the brethren communicate that way. What do we have? We have the reverse of the Tower of Babel now. And what do we have there for? The fulfillment of Daniel says knowledge shall increase, and many will run to and fro. That's what's happening today. There's no questions about that. We're at the time of the end. No questions about that. So God delayed it because he had a plan to give mankind 6,000 years of mankind to do their own thing.
And then on the seventh thousand year, which we call the millennium, he will then bring peace on earth, which is a time of rest, like the Sabbath is a time of rest, so a millennial Sabbath. That's what we have said for many years. Okay, the scripture does not say exactly that, but you and I can see by the fruits, by what's happening. That's actually what is developing now.
So we know that there's going to be a time, thank God, thank God, that Christ is going to come and rule on earth. Turn with me to Zechariah 14 verse 9. Zechariah 14 verse 9. Zechariah 14 verse 9. Right towards the end of the Old Testament, the second last book, Zechariah 14 verse 9, we read. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth.
In that day it shall be, the Lord is one and his name one. Brethren, there is clearly talking about Jesus Christ that is going to come and rule on earth, and that is represented by the millennium, which is the first one thousand years of the rule on earth. Yes, we know you'll rule forever and ever, but the first stage will be on earth. So, Christ is coming.
Also, between brackets, as a point of interest, the word Lordia is in all caps, which means Y-H-W-H, which is Yahweh, which means basically eternal, and Christ is eternal, and in this instance he is specifically talking about Jesus Christ. So, we then know that Christ is going to come. When you and I read prophecy, for instance, in Revelation 19, we see that He's going to come. Revelation 19, we see He's going to come. My question is, is everybody going to say, hallelujah, I'm so glad Christ is coming? No! Because you read in Revelation 19 verse 19.
Revelation 19 verse 19. It says, And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and the armies, gathered together to make war against him, that sat on the horse and against his army. The nations of the world are going to hate Christ and are going to fight Him. This whole world is being conditioned. Think about it. It's being conditioned to fight Christ.
That is a very interesting statement. Mankind as a whole is being prepared subconsciously to fight Christ.
You and I know those leaders will be destroyed. Then in chapter 20, the first few verses, you and I see that Satan himself will be put in jail for a thousand years. And then towards the end of verse 4 of chapter 20, you can see that those resurrected saints lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Sure, we will reign with Christ for eternity, but the first thousand years is a rule on planet earth.
Then there will be new heavens and new earth into the whole universe, but the first thousand years will be on earth. So, Christ will come and we will reign with Him. My question, though, is the following.
Are we being prepared now to reign with Christ? Brethren, what is one of the biggest problems in the world today? I'm not saying it's the only problem, but one of the biggest problems is that we've got corrupt leaders. And not only corrupt leaders, but think about this. Corruptable leaders. It's different. Have you thought about it? They corrupt leaders and they corruptible. In other words, they can be bribed and whatever it is to do the wrong things. You and I are being prepared to be the leaders in the world tomorrow. God has to ensure that you and I are not ever going to be corrupted. In other words, that we will not be corruptible any time in the future. So today we have to prove that we're not corrupt and we have to prove to God that we will not be corruptible. That is an important thing for you to consider. So you and I have to go through tests. Now you and I know that when Christ comes to rule, He will rule with a rod of iron. Yes, look at Revelation 12 verse 5. Revelation 12 verse 5. Revelation 12 verse 5. It says, she bore a male child who was to rule our nations with a rod of iron. So Yah is a prophecy saying that the woman, in this case specifically pointing to Mary, was going to have a child, which is Jesus Christ, and He was going to rule with a rod of iron. So we can see, Yah, that Christ initially is going to come and rule with a rod of iron. But, but will He always be a dictator with a rod of iron putting you down? No. Because a shepherd has a rod of iron to protect the sheep from the wolves, but the rod of iron is used to lovingly guide and direct the sheep. Which means God's law is straight. It's not twisted. It's straight. And that can be supported by when you read scriptures like Isaiah chapter 2. Now, you know, Isaiah right at the beginning there's got some lovely scriptures about the world tomorrow. And if we just read at this moment just Isaiah chapter 2, and obviously we could read much more, but for today's purpose I just want to focus on Isaiah chapter 2 verse 2 and 3. So let's just get to it. Isaiah chapter 2 verse 2 and 3.
It says, Now it will come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord's house. Brethren, what is a mountain? A mountain is symbolic of a kingdom of the Lord's house, in other words, of God. So it's basically saying in code, it will come to pass that the kingdom of God shall be established on top of the mountains. That means other nations, other governments. So the kingdom of God will be established on earth above all other national governments. So it will be a world government. And look, and it says, And shall be exalted above the hills, in other words, even smaller nations, and all nations shall flow to it. That implies voluntary going towards where God's government is ruling on earth. That means those nations will willingly want to go and listen to the instruction coming from God's government. So yes, this rod of iron is used up front against those armies that want to attack Christ, that want to destroy Christ. They'll be zapped so quickly that they're still standing on their feet and their mouths, their tongues disappear, their eyes disappear. They don't even have time to blink their eyes, much less press a button to fight against Christ. They'll be zapped so quickly they don't even know what's happening. Well, they probably know what's happening, but it'll be very quick and immediate. But once those leaders are destroyed, what have we got? We are people that have been taught the wrong way in this society, full of perverted knowledge. Isn't that the case today? Knowledge. You go on to Google, you go on to social media, there's a lot of garbage. Garbage lies. Education, which is incorrect. You go to schools, they're teaching things. I'm not talking about the basic things. One plus one is two and things like that, but I'm talking about bringing ideas and ideologies that are ungodly.
That has to be unlearned. And you know, brethren, it's more difficult to unlearn something than just to learn it. It takes years to unlearn something. Our children and our grandchildren, and I don't mean just ours, but of society, they are being taught junk. And they're going to have to unlearn all the stuff. And so they will voluntarily come to where the kingdom is established, the government of God, and they'll come there to learn. That's what it says. All nations shall flow to it. Verse 3, Many people shall come and say, Come, and let us go to the mountain of the Lord. In other words, where the kingdom of God is there with the spirit beings, let's go to them, to the house of the God of Jacob, and He will teach us His ways. And we shall walk in His paths, for out of Zion shall go forth the Lord, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. So we have an education system that will be established in the world tomorrow based on sound truth. Truth, not lies. And mankind will crave to year to know the truth because they've been taught lies. And the outcome you can see a little later in Isaiah 11 verse 9. Isaiah 11 verse 9 says, They shall not hurt nor destroy in my holy mountain. That is the outcome of knowing the truth. There'll be no hurt, there'll be no destruction. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
How will the earth be full of the knowledge of God? Will it be a magic wand? Zap! Now everybody knows everything. Now it'll be our job and our children, the pioneers in the world tomorrow, our lovely teenagers that are sitting here and learning, they have a job, an enormous job, a wonderful job of teaching the world. They will be the leaders. You young people here, you will be the leaders in the next decade or two or whatever. You will be the top leaders showing people this is the way walk in it. Because you are setting the right example today. You're learning today and you'll be teaching others tomorrow.
And so brethren, my question is, and I think I partly answered it already, but my question is, how will this re-education occur? It's because you are being taught now and you're practicing it in your families, in your lives. You being an example at school, oh yeah, you teased. Oh yeah, you teased big time. You have real problems at school because all the other kids are giving you a hard time. But you know, in another decade or two, you will be telling them, you see, you messed up your life because you broke God's laws. But God is merciful and God can heal you. Follow my example. God has a great plan for you, all of you young people. God loves you.
And you got a great hope. Oh yeah, you and I can look at things happening in the wall and say, oh, this is terrible. But God will protect you. If you are faithful to God, God will protect you because He wants to use you as the pioneers in the world tomorrow. Or you could say God needs no one. Well, God has got this plan, the way He's done it, the way He's architected it, that He wants to use you. So I could say, well, God needs you. Well, God doesn't need anybody. But what I could say by extrapolation, that in His plan, He wants to use you. He needs you to be those young people, those 20-year-olds and 30-year-olds that will be a light, a shining light, a beam of hope to those people who come from the Great Tribulation and things like that. And they'll be disheartened, they'll be discouraged, they'll be distraught, they'll be terribly down. And you young people are going to be the ones that you're going to encourage them and say, this is the way. And God is kind, God is love, and you can make it. Keep going. What a great responsibility you have in your shoulders, young people. That's why the enemy, Satan, wants to destroy you. But don't allow yourself to be discouraged. Be strong. Keep going the way. You see, the education will be based on truth. Today, education is based on lies. Lies and more lies. And you know it. They talk lies through their teeth, like a fork-tongue. They say one thing and then whatever it is, it's just... But as you walk in God's ways, and more and more you walk in God's ways, you get to know the truth. Look at John chapter 8 verse 32. John chapter 8 verse 32.
John chapter 8 verse 32.
Jesus, He is talking to those Jews which allegedly believed. As you read the section, you see, they didn't really believe. But, oh, we believe. It's easy to say, I believe. It's another thing to prove your belief by actions. It's a different story. But anyway, they say they believed. And so Jesus, being smart, He's super intelligent. He's got like an IQ of a thousand, not of a hundred or a hundred twenty, of a million or a billion, whatever. He's super smart. He said, if you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. But you've got to abide. Yes, that belief is going to lead to action, of doing and acting according to God's way.
I appreciate the sermonette because it went on the point how Satan tries to deceive us. You know, Satan tries to deceive us in many ways, but we have to practice God's way. I have a question later on which says, what do you think is the lie? No, it's just a question, and you can think of other things. But one of them, the lie is that, for one, is that all you need to do is just believe you don't have to do anything. That is a bad lie. And there will be many other false lies, like believing that the Antichrist is actually the Christ. That may be the lie, but it will be an interesting discussion to hear from you later on about that. But it says, if you abide in God's Word, the Bible is his word. If you abide in God's Word, you are my disciples. What is our job? To make disciples. To be disciples. That's our job. And you'll know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Oh, we are free! We are sons of Abraham! You read the story. They got on to the wrong side of what he was talking about. But Christ knew what the problem was. Amongst one of them, self-righteousness. Self-righteousness. But anyway, God's Word is truth. John 17, 17. The Bible, God's Word, reveals the way of peace. Reveals the way of happiness. Reveals the way of being like God is.
But people in this world think they're very smart. Oh yeah! They think they're very smart. But the wisdom of this world is what to God?
1 Corinthians 3, verse 19. 1 Corinthians 3, verse 19.
1 Corinthians 3, verse 19.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.
Because he says he catches the wise in their own craftiness. And again, the Lord knows the thoughts of the wise. They are futile. So brethren, what do we have today? We have smart people. Oh yeah, people are very clever, very intelligent. But it's guided the wrong way because it's not guided on the foundation of truth, which is God's Word. And therefore, the outcome we have today in the world is war and fighting, and there's no peace. Oh yeah, people say, oh, peace, peace. Be careful, because then, sudden destruction. You see, there's no peace today. You see, there's a lot of learning today. You read in Daniel, knowledge shall increase. Oh yeah, knowledge has increased. You just have to Google. You want to find out something, you just go and Google. And bang! Then it gives you the stuff. Oh yeah, knowledge has increased. It's all over the place.
But knowledge is not wisdom. Knowledge is not wisdom.
Wisdom is the capability of taking that knowledge and applying it correctly, based on truth.
And if you don't have truth, if you've thrown the Bible away, you've thrown away the foundation of knowledge, of true knowledge.
You see, look at 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 7. 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 7. Always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Oh yeah, people are learning. You can go to school and learn a lot of technical stuff. A lot of it's good. But a lot of these schools have these teachers, instructors with great credentials, but they're teaching you lies. And our young people want to do well at college, at the well at school. They want to do well. They want to please the teachers. But today our young people need to learn to discern, at the very young age, truth from lie. And you're only able to discern truth if you focus on God's Word, if you put the Bible first, God's law first. And so what do we have today?
Put it mildly, we have deception. Our education is based on deception.
Look at Revelation 12 verse 9. And who is the author of deception? Revelation 12 verse 9.
And it says, the great dragon, the serpent of old, the devil, the Satan himself, deceives the whole world.
How can you deceive everybody? I mean, if you want to tell a lie, maybe you'll convince one or two or three or five people, but you're not going to deceive the whole world.
He's very smart. He's very clever. He's got a master degree, in fact, maybe a doctorate degree, on how to deceive, on deception. So if you had like a diploma and put it on a wall, you would have super, super duper, whatever it is, deceiver of the whole, Satan. He's the one. He's got it.
Now, if you give me a bottle of water like this one, and the water is fluffy, dirty, and mushy, it really... And I tell you, oh, this is good. Drink it. Would you drink it? Of course not. Because I couldn't deceive you. If it looks yak, if it smells yak, if it tastes yak, don't tell me it's good. So I couldn't deceive you. But if I give you a bottle of water that is sparkling clean, shining like it is, smells good, tastes good.
But it's got a tiny drop of arsenic. It's going to kill you. You see, for me to deceive you, I've got to make it look like the real thing. But for my new skull, little drop of poison, that you can't see it, that you can't smell it, that is the art of deception. So Satan is going to make things, things in the Bible, doctrine, teachings, to appear very good. But all you need is a little drop of deception, and it will deceive us. We've got to be careful. We've got to be careful. That's why you and I are told, prove all things. 1 Thessalonians 5.21. Turn with me, please. 1 Thessalonians 5.21. Prove all things. Test all things. Hold fast what is good. Prove it. Test it. Check it. Don't just believe what the professor at school is saying. Oh, well, you can do this! And he got all these ideas today. Oh, well, you can do this and whatever it is. And it's okay for a man to dress as a woman or whatever. It's not okay. It's an abomination to God.
So be careful. Be careful. So, you know, there's a big problem in today's society. And maybe some people are going to say, well, how's that? I tell you what one of the problems is. And you're going to hear this and say, what do you mean? One of the problems is free speech.
Because if your speech is a lie, it should be stopped. If the speech is a lie, it should not be allowed to be propagated. And that will not be allowed under Christ's rule. Oh, yes, you have free speech. Provide you speak the truth. Provide you speak what's clean. You see, God has given us a lot of good things. God's given His commandments that are for our good. You read, for instance, Deuteronomy 10, verse 12 through 13. He says, God gives His commandments for our good. Well, let's just read it a bit. Deuteronomy 10, verse 12 and 13.
Deuteronomy 10, 12. And now Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? What did God require of us? What is it that we need to have? But to fear the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your body, with your soul, your being, and to keep the commandments of the Eternal and His statutes which I command to you today for your good. God loves you, and His laws and His principles are for our good. It's not to destroy us, it's for our good. But what have we got today? Look at the Scripture, yeah, which is in Jeremiah 16, verse 19. Jeremiah 16, verse 19. Jeremiah 16, verse 19. O Lord, my strength in my fortress, my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come to you from the ends of the earth. And that means the nations, the Gentiles, will come to God from the ends of the earth. When? There will obviously be no war tomorrow, right? In the millennium, not today. And it says, surely our fathers have inherited lies, worthless and unprofitable things. That's what's being taught today at schools of higher learning. It is said. It is said. The nations have to repent. The world has to repent. Christ has to come back, initially ruling with a rod of iron, and bringing a teaching that will require people to change. Look at Isaiah 55, verse 7 through 9.
Well, let's start in verse 6. In verse 6, That's God's ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
We have to repent. Mankind will repent in the world tomorrow.
But who's going to teach them to repent? It's going to be you, young children, teenagers. You will be teaching them.
God's got a great plan for you. God loves you. And He's going to protect you in the terrible days ahead.
He's going to protect you in the terrible days ahead. How? I don't know.
But He will, because He doesn't lie.
Because what do we need to do today, brethren? Us, and all of us, yeah, we need to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So it's not just in the knowledge, but it's in the gracious way of how to apply it with loving care and concern.
Till we all come to that unity of the faith. Till we all come to that unity of the faith. Turn with me to Ephesians chapter 4. Ephesians chapter 4 verse 13.
Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of Man. You see, we ought to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Son of Man, of Jesus Christ. Of how He is, how He acted, how He loved mankind. You read the story, John, I think it's around about 8 or 9 or something. Is that woman caught in adultery? And people were criticizing, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She was caught red-handed.
So where's the man? Why is only the woman there?
But then he said something, he wrote something on the ground, and they all ducked. Cheers, this is too hot for me. I'm going. Because maybe he said, well, what about this? And what about that? And he pricked their hearts and they, I'm out of here.
And then Christ looked around, and it was just Him and the woman, and He said, where's your accusers?
They're all gone. He said to them, then go and sin no more. Yes, He forgives her. And that is symbolic. By the way, brethren, you read that in context. That is the context of the world tomorrow, and in fact, most specifically, of the hundred-year period, the Great White Throne Judgment. That is that context. You've got to look at it in the context. And that shows, and even the example of that man born blind for all his life. That is symbolic of this world, mankind, being blind all day alive since birth. That is pointing to the time of the Second Resurrection. Those parables are there for that time. That was stated on what we call the last great day or the eighth day. That is very meaningful. But, Christ will forgive us on the condition that we repent. But in the world tomorrow, you can have a job, young people, to be teaching them, to re-educate them.
God will give us and will give you, even though you're not baptized, God is giving you of his Spirit today. God's Spirit is with you today! It's a Spirit of a sound mind, a Spirit of love, a Spirit of power. God is with you today.
And Solomon said right at the end of the book, Ecclesiastes says, and that's the duty of the whole man, what it is. Keep the commandments. That's the duty of the whole man, and walk in his ways. Fear God and keep his commandments. But just before that, it says, young man, yeah, have a happy life, but remember there will be a judgment.
Because what we have to do is, yeah, enjoy our lives, but do it God's way. Do it the right way. And that is the duty of the whole man.
You see, when Christ comes, you'll come with two basic roles. King of kings and Lord of lords.
In other words, he will be the king over other kings, and you'll be the Lord over other lords. Now, what is these lords?
Well, we've seen that Christ will teach. Well, let's look at that again in Psalm 25. Psalm 25.
Psalm 25.
Verse 8-10.
Good and upright is the Lord, therefore he teaches sinners the way. The humble, he guides in justice, and the humble, he teaches his way. The King James Version uses the word the meek. He guides, and the meek he teaches. You see, God teaches.
How does he teach? Through you. And in the world tomorrow, it will be through you, young people, that will be the younger generation teaching.
But for you to teach, you have to be a light, you have to be an example.
And what do you mean therefore, lords? There's an interesting scripture. You may have not looked at it in that context, but look at Malachi 2, verse 7. Malachi 2, verse 7. Malachi 2, verse 7.
For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, and the people should seek the law from his mouth.
The duty of a priest is to keep knowledge. In other words, is to teach.
So the Lord of the Lords is that priest, that high priest, over the other priests, the other teachers. The duty of the priest is to teach. You and I will be teachers in the world tomorrow. Some of us will be kings. I speculate that maybe as of this latter age, we are probably, most of us, being trained to be teachers rather than to be kings. But that's just my view. I might be wrong. That's okay. But you and I are being taught to be teachers. And you know, scriptures, it says, like Isaiah 30, it says, a person appears, it says, this is the way walk you in it. You, as spirit beings, will be able to appear and disappear like Christ did after His resurrection.
Re-education will be universal. The world will be full of the knowledge of the Lord like the waters cover the sea. Jesus Christ will come to re-educate the world, but He will not do it by Himself. Education requires individual, personal, one-on-one interaction with the teachers, and Christ is going to use you in the world tomorrow. Yes, there will be worldwide peace. There's no reason why that could be. Mankind will learn that God's way is the best. And indeed, brethren, there will be a complete universal re-education in the millennium.
