Modern Day Warnings From Zechariah

While one-third of the Bible contains prophecy, it doesn’t mean that all of it applies to us or directly affects us today. Yet they are all recorded for our benefit and help us to learn – especially when they apply in there here and now. Zechariah was a prophet of hope and many of his insights do apply to us Christians now as they have a spiritual significance that could only apply to God’s people filled with His Holy Spirit. While there are also historical and future aspects to his prophecies, the Church of God should heed some of these lessons.
