In a recent communication to the ministry, UCG President John Elliott spoke of the significance of knowing and reinforcing who Jesus was and is in Scripture. The name of Jesus Christ is critically important to us and our salvation. However, the emphasis the bible places on Jesus’ name is different than what some believe.

Jim Moody

Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.  He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
