Nehushtan, meaning a "thing of brass," was the name given the brazen serpent God directed Moses to erect to protect the Israelites from death by a plague of serpents. Upon viewing the object, God miraculously healed the stricken person. This message examines Old and New Testament typology and the symbolism of Nehushtan.
