Nehushtan, meaning a "thing of brass," was the name given the brazen serpent God directed Moses to erect to protect the Israelites from death by a plague of serpents. Upon viewing the object, God miraculously healed the stricken person. This message examines Old and New Testament typology and the symbolism of Nehushtan.
A native of Southern California and ordained in 1981, Mr. Jon Garnant has been a part of the Church of God community for nearly 50 years, having served on both coasts, Northern/Southern CA and NY/NJ Metroplexes. After 25 years in the precious metals industry as a chemist, he turned to finance as an Advisor, now retired. He is blessed beyond measure with 3 adult children, 2 daughters-in-law, beautiful grandchildren and Becky, his lovely wife of 40 years.. and when not in church, lives in Orange County , CA ... not too far from Disneyland.
