Nurturing Our Relationship with God

This message emphasizes the importance of actively maintaining and strengthening our relationship with God, especially during the time between the Holy Days. While the Holy Day seasons provide extra spiritual nourishment, the responsibility then shifts to us to remain focused and spiritually diligent. The speaker outlines three key ways to nurture this relationship: (1) seeking and doing God’s will by responding to His instruction with action and obedience; (2) nurturing our calling by prioritizing the preaching of the gospel and fulfilling our spiritual responsibility while still practicing good works; and (3) caring for our spiritual temple by maintaining a clean and obedient heart through prayer, Bible study, fasting, meditation, and the active use of God’s Holy Spirit. Ultimately, the message reminds us that what will matter most is whether we faithfully nurtured our relationship with God and remained spiritually prepared for Christ’s return.
