Garnant covers the count to Pentecost. He looks first at the wavesheaf as Christ and Jesus Christ's Ascension and uses Moses/Jesus parallels. Why count 50 days or seven weeks of Sabbaths? What is a Firstfruit? What does the 40 day of Apostles with Jesus and the 40 days of Moses with God, have to do with our 40 days?
