God’s covenant with His people is an absolute commitment reinforced by many promises. God will keep His promises, because He cannot lie and because He has the necessary power to fulfill them. Some of God’s promises are conditional meaning He will fulfill them if we do our part. God has promised to take care of our needs if we have our priorities straight. God has promised to forgive us when we ask for it with a humble and repentant heart. God has promised us great reward according to our works. God has promised us eternal life in His kingdom and family to those who love and obey Him.
