Passover and Unleavened Bread: Renewing our Commitment to Captivity

For 365 days of the year, the god of this world seeks to exploit what Paul describes in 2 Corinthians 10 as strongholds—arguments and patterns of reasoning in our hearts and minds that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God and draw us back into bondage to him. In contrast, God has given us the Passover season as an annual “reset,” a time to remember our dependence on Christ and to renew our commitment to tear down every stronghold that would hinder our complete submission to Him.
