God left a personal message of encouragement and also of warning to each of those he has called and chosen. The seven churches reference in Revelation 2 and 3 not only pictures the eras of God's true church but also a make up of attitudes that are found in each church era. God specifically states these messages are for all of God's people regardless of what church era.
