In Luke 15, Jesus gives three progressive parables in answer to the Pharisees and Scribes accusation of “receiving and eating with sinners”.  Each parable speaks to hope, reconciliation and restoration.  Jesus places a call to those who find themselves lost.  When the ‘Good Shepherd’ rescues a ‘lost sheep’, are we a place they can come home to?  Jesus offers much to think about in these three short and direct parables.
