Each year as Tabernacles and the 8th Day conclude, we should be keenly aware of the responsibility and honor of our calling to the resurrection of the first fruits. That carries a conviction of knowing that we will be serving those who will be raised later, who sometimes performed amazing works in this life. We were not called because of our previous works, but we are called to walk ahead in faith and perform works.
My wife Rebecca and I live in East TX. We serve the East TX, Texarkana, and Ruston congregations. We both work at an Education Service Center, providing support to K-12 schools.
