The journeying of Israel out of Egypt, accompanied by God and His might, was a tremendous show of the power of God. It was a pivotal event in the national life of Israel. In the lead-up to this, God has shown His authority. He used Moses to foretell and then to bring about occurrences that illustrated God’s mastery of all creation. What was Israel to learn in all of this? What are we to learn from these stories? Today we will look into Scripture and gain inspiration as we witness God’s irresistible power to rescue.

David has been a math teacher for 30 years in Arizona and New Mexico. He and Laura have been married 33 years, and have two adult sons and one daughter-in-law. David was ordained into the ministry in 2011. He currently serves as the pastor for the Albuquerque, NM, congregation of the United Church of God.
