The Rudiments of the World

Someone once asked me how I and other speakers could presume to speak on the Bible without having had a sufficient education in biblical Hebrew and Greek. And how, he wondered, could we presume to teach contrary to the scholarly consensus. It is a valid question. How could we be right and the great scholars be wrong? This message touches on the all-too-often overlooked, but crucial element in human knowledge on which everything turns: the premise.
