A Sign of Humility

Given the ongoing COVID crisis, a very popular sign posted in residential yards in the Wilson and Nash County NC area reads: “Be Humble and Pray – 2 Chronicles 7:14.” A reference of GOD’s promise to King Solomon to deliver ancient Israel if they would humble themselves, pray, and repent from wickedness in times of crisis. This message considers how genuine “Humility” can be one of the most motivating qualities of humanity that not only captures GOD’s attention, but also endears HIM toward HIS people and anyone who is willing to surrender themselves to HIM and HIS Will.
Monte Kim Boykin

Kim Boykin has been a member of the Church since 1980 and now serves primarily the Raleigh and Jacksonville North Carolina congregations. He also serves as VP of Sales and Marketing for an Electronics Manufacturing company where he has been employed for the past 30 years. Kim and his wife Brenda have been married since 1987.
