Teaching Empathy

The 10 Commandments teach empathy and compassion.  Matthew 19:13-14 demonstrates our need to be as little children.  The innocent child displays a loving trust that we need to develop toward God our Father.   We also should have a positive loving relationship with one another.  1Thes:5:11: Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.  Eph:4:2: With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.  Many lessons concerning empathy and compassion are explained in the book of Proverbs.  It is a necessary part of our spiritual growth.
