A covenant was made between the Lord and Israel of old when they gathered before Him at Mount Sinai. That covenant had symbolic elements that were a shadow of the good things to come. In the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the symbolism of the first covenant was fulfilled and came to and end, and the new covenant was established. This message lists seven of the major components of the first covenant that Jesus Christ and God the Father made obsolete. In the next message in this series, we'll consider the better promises upon which the new covenant was established.
