There was a heinous act in history of lynching which sought take the mind and leave the body of those still alive, leaving one uneducated and weak to accept being a slave. In the same way, Satan from the beginning has tried to take the mind, puff up the body, and make one a slave. As Frederick Douglass said, "Knowledge makes a man unfit to be a slave." Let's stand on the foundation of Jesus Christ, filling our minds with the knowledge of the truth, and makes ourselves completely unfit to be a slave.

Ryan was born and raised in central Georgia. Baptized in 1997, he is a fourth-generation member of the Church of God. Ryan and wife, Nissa, have three children and one grandchild. Ryan serves as Pastor for the Youngstown (Ohio), Wheeling (West Virginia), and Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) congregations. Ryan also served as the Council Reporter from May 2022 - May 2025.
