Using the Shield of Faith

The Bible tells us that the gift of the shield of faith is something we must take up, something we are required to raise and use. Just leaving it in the corner of the room or in a cupboard, or simply strapping it to our arm, won't do any good at all if we don't make the effort to hold it aloft and use it.
