Pentecost, the second of three festival seasons, is commanded by God and is know by several names including The Feast of Harvest and the Feast of Firstfruits.  This early harvest was the smallest harvest of first ripened grain, but figuratively it refers to the disciples who God has called and working with in our lives and have the firstfruits of God’s Holy Spirit.
