We Walk by Faith and Not by Sight Only

As we move forward toward the Fall Holy Day season, let us consider the exhortation to "walk by faith and not by sight". How do we do that? To understand how to do that, this message will look several biblical examples, beginning with Abraham, the father of the faithful, to see what we can learn from them. We will see that a recurring theme is that we must not look at the surrounding physical circumstances, but install we must look at promises in God's word.

Mark Rorem

Mark Rorem (1948-2017) was an elder in the United Church of God, serving primarily in the Oakland congregation. He was a graduate of Ambassador College.  He and his wife, Linda, had three children.  He grew up in Mexico City, and assisted in various aspects of the Spanish language efforts of the Church. He was a practicing attorney since 1979.  He was ordained an elder in 2000.
