Our attitudes as a true Christian must be different than the worldly ways and that of human nature and self-centeredness. What we believe, what we say and what we do are all required to be in line with Biblical truths and teachings, especially in following Jesus Christ's teachings and His perfect example of how to live a Christian way of life according to those teachings.
