Where Israel possibly received the Law on Pentecost, the Church received the Holy Spirit. To become one of God’s firstfruits we are to give our full effort in our works to produce spiritual fruit. We are to be without blemish; We are to love God’s laws and put sin out of our lives; We are to be in tune with God’s laws. We are to be the very best of the human harvest. We cannot do this without being led by the Holy Spirit.
